Award Description: The CIP will provide needed renovation for North Woods Community Health Center (NWCHC), and ensure that equipment is updated to meet current needs. The Minong medical clinic building is over 25 years old and has not had any work done to it beyond regular maintenance. The CIP grant will allow for the enlargement of exam rooms, additional office space for providers and administrative staff, upgrading of lab, x-ray, and nursing areas, replacement of worn building materials and furnishings, and the purchase of much needed equipment. All of these will facilitate higher quality care and added comfort of our patients.
Project Description: Renovation of North Woods Community Health Center (NWCHC), Minong, Wisconsin Equipment for NWCHC, Minong, including clinical equipment and reception furniture; dental operatory for North Woods Community Dental Clinic, Hayward, Wisconsin.
