Award Description: CDBG-R funds will be used to create a more suitable living environment primarily for low and moderate income persons. CDBG-R funds have been budgeted to 7 infrastructure projects that will improve streets and sidewalks in low income areas. It is expected that the work will create at least 28 full-time jobs.
Project Description: CDBG-R funds will be used to create a more suitable living environment primarily for low and moderate income persons. CDBG-R funds have been budgeted to 7 infrastructure projects that will improve streets and sidewalks in low income areas. All seven projects have gone out to bid and have been awarded. Five of the projects are underway. The County anticipates all projects will be completed by the end of October.
