Award Description: The objective of the Contract, as articulated by the USDA, is 'to acquire highly specialized technical support for the development of a consolidated Farm Service Agency (FSA) Infrastructure Stabilization Data Warehouse (ISDW). The FSA ISDW is to be a robust and dynamic consolidated data warehouse that provides information to FSA national, state, and county personnel. It is expected to be continually expanding by building upon existing data marts and propagating new business-driven data marts that are important to FSA's business enterprise. Given the large number of users and their varying query proficiencies, the data mart/data warehouse design and queries must be developed or adapted with flexibility in mind. So critical is the FSA ISDW that interruption of this system would severely impact management's ability to manage FSA's day-to-day business operations information. A major objective of the FSA ISDW is to remove the application reporting processes from the Web Farm and replace them with enterprise data warehouse-based processes, while still providing state and county offices access to their program data.'

Completed Design and Build for next two marts (Testing in progress); completed Design for 6th mart. Completed ETL Extract (Upstream Process) Inventory (C.6.3.5). Completed Flat File Inventory (C.6.3.5). Assisted in outlining and documenting Configuration Management Plans (n/a). Completed documentation and analysis of requirement interviews with 130+ FSA Business Users, 230+ surveys (state and county offices) (C.6.3.2). Completed gap/analysis document based on interviews (C.6.3.2). Hosted one week Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Event for DBMO (n/a). Completed FSA Enterprise Conceptual Model (C.6.3.3). Completed and delivered FSA As-Is Assessment documentation (C.6.3.2). Completed and delivered FSA To-Be Strategy documentation (C.6.3.3). Delivered updated Project Management Plans (C.6.2). Delivered updated Project Work Plans/Schedules (C.6.2).
