Award Description: 17.258: $9,393,463.00. 17.259: $23,677,573.00. 17.260: $26,213,424.00. To provide employment-related services and high quality work experience to youth and provide a variety a of work-related employment and training services to unemployed or underemployed adults to support their entry or reentry into the job market.

Project Description: Approximately 1950 Youth were hired in total for the YHCC (Young Hoosier Conservation Corps) program to improve Indiana’s parks, trails and natural habitats. Also, the Workforce Acceleration Grants (WAG) program was launched to help Hoosiers pay for the costs of education and training to help prepare them for high demand or high wage jobs.

Jobs Summary: FTEs reported predominantly reflect the summer youth program employment of the state (Young Hoosier Conservation Corps) and Indianapolis summer youth employment programs. (Total jobs reported: 627)
