Award Description: System improvements and upgrades: Project improvements consists of the installation of approximately 8.5 miles of 8-inch pipe and 6-inch PVC and HDPE transmission pipeline; installation of approximately 2 miles of 2-inch distribution pipeline; the construction of a 16' x 20 Water Treatment Plant expansion and installation of one 11-foot diameter greensand filter oat the North Water Treatment Plant (NWTP); replacement of the greensand media, operational gate valves and meters, misc. pumps, and structural improvements at he NWTP and South Water Treatment Plant (SWTP)
Project Description: Preliminary Engineering Report, Environemental Assesment Report, Final Design, Bidding Award of 2008 System Improvements Project. Purchase and installation of existing filter media at NWP and SWTP. Preliminary land acquistion/easement work by award recipients attorney.
