Award Description: Installation of photo voltaic solar panels on the city's largest public facility, the Congresswoman Juanita Millender McDonald Community Center, to reduce greenhouse emissions and act as a model to residents of how solar energy buildings operate.

Project Description: Installation of photo voltaic solar panels on the Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center to produce renewable energy; thus, reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Infrastructure Description: Photo voltaic solar panels will reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with conventional sources of electricity and will result in budget savings for the facility by utilizing renewable energy and reducing dependency on conventional electricity.
