Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act
Project Description: ARRA COLA and Quality Improvement Funds will be used to increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve the overall quality of the program, to attract and retain qualified individuals, to hire a Client Services Coordinator II and six Floater/Bus Monitor/Drivers, and to assist teachers in obtaining a BS degree by 2013 as per the Head Start Act.
