Award Description: This is a two phase project for the Fort McCoy VFW Home. In the first phase we will provide funding to rehabilitate the common area for a vfw; addressing energy-saving lighting, updated a/c, with recessed ceiling and repairs, updating the kitchen and dining room, updating the sprinkler system and defective wiring with partitioning off living space to accomodate the needs of the disabled and seniors. The second phase consist of adding 16 additional units to the VFW home for retired VFW persons and their spouses.
