Award Description: CDBG-R -Construction of the Arthur W. Christopher Community Center
Project Description: Construction of the Arthur W. Christopher community center has begun. One hundred percent of the site fencing;erosion control/tree protection;demolition-site clearing and earthwork is completed. Ninety five percent of the pilings is completed. The concrete work for the retaining wall is eighty percent complete. Five percent of the excavation for the building foundation has been completed. The portion that this grant funds has not begun.
Infrastructure Description: Building the community center will help create jobs, it will also help stabilize the neighborhoods.
