Award Description: EPA provided IHS $3,918,750 of Clean Water Act Indian Set Aside funds through Interagency Agreement DW-75-95765901-0 for this project. Project scope: Construct downtown sewer mains, a downtown lift station and forcemain, and put the new lagoon into service.
Project Description: This project will construct a sewer main, lift station and forcemain and put the new lagoon into service.
Infrastructure Description: The purpose and rationale of this water/waste water project relates directly to the intent and purpose of the Recovery Act by creating and saving jobs in urban and rural Alaska while helping to spur economic activity and investment towards the long term sustainability of our communities.
