Award Description: Conduct modernization activities at the Mission View public housing development. Replace siding, doors and windows and related work. This funding will provide employment to construction workers and project manufactures. The residences will be made more energy efficient by installing double paned windows and improving the building envelope.

Project Description: The project includes the re-siding of a 36-unit public housing development including window and door replacements and related work. The construction work began on September 28, 2009, so only a few activities, mainly mobilization, took place as of quarter ending September 30, 2009. The residences will be made more energy efficient by the installation of double paned windows and improvement to the building envelope.
