Award Description: This grant was awarded to provide funding to support capital improvement projects at Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Project Description: The Fairfield Community Health Center (FCHC) plans to use the CIP funds for the purchase of a Practice Management Syatem (PMS) and an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Interviews and demonstrations have been held with several vendors and a decision should be made before 12/31/09 as to which vendor will be selected. Once that has been accomplished, the implementation of this project will be on a fast track.
