Award Description: The project will rehabilitate the landscape in the vicinity of the Peirce Mill Complex and the c. 1829 Peirce Mill Structure and allow Peirce Mill to be reopened to the public. The current mill structure has structural deficiencies, is not compliant with ADA and ABA guidelines as defined in the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards, does not meet life safety codes, does not provide space comfort for users, and does not provide space comfort for users, and does not adequately represent the historic context context of the area.
