Award Description: Provide Architect-Engineer design services for 'Western Regional Research Center (WRRC), Recovery - Repair Exterior Finishes, West Annex Building and Service Building, Albany, California.' The purpose of the award is to investigate and propose design solutions to repair the deteriorated exterior finishes of two buildings located at WRRC. Project includes a hazardous materials survey, a draft and final feasibility study report, and 50% and Final Turnover contract documents to be bid for a construction contract.
Project Description: A-E conducted a feasibility study of the two buildings included in the scope of work and produced and delivered a draft report of the study including a hazardous materials survey and report, preliminary cost estimate, and drawings. The project team reviewed the draft report and met to discuss design options, budget issues, and the next phase which will be the Final Study Report.
