Award Description: To capitalize the revolving loan fund for financing the construction of wastewater treatment facilities and associated infrastructure, green infrastructure, and nonpoint source projects which will preserve and create jobs, promote economic recovery through the investment in infrastructure projects that will improve water quality for the State of Arkansas and provide long term economic benefits.
Project Description: These funds will be used to achieve or maintain one or more of the goals of the Clean Water Act. All of these funds will be provided to subrecipients to meet this purpose.
Infrastructure Description: The Clean Water State Revolving Fund is designed to provide funding for municipal wastewater treatment plants to attain or maintain compliance with the federal Clean Water Act.
