Award Description: ARRA Notice 58 - The purpose of this modification is to add requirements to provide Energy Efficiency Improvements for Site Mgt Office; Install Power to River Junction Campsites; Install Water to River Junction Campsites; Upgrade Water Systems at Eastbank Campground; Water Service & Connection to Municipal Water for Hales Landing; Maintenance & Efficiency Upgrades for Maintenance Campground; Re-Roof Lock Operator Control Building and Connect High Efficiency Street Lights at Public Use Areas, in accordance with the basic contract and Contractor's 16 Jul 09 quote.
Project Description: a) Provide Energy Efficiency Improvements for Site Mgt Office - Design work has started. b) Install Power to River Junction Campsites - Materials have been purchased. c) Install Water to River Junction Campsites - Materials have been purchsed. d) Upgrade Water Systems at Eastbank Campground - Work has started on Loop 'B', but has not yet started on Loops 'A' and 'C'. e) Water Service & Connection to Municipal Water for Hales Landing - Negotiations regarding the cost are underway with Decatur County officials. f) Maintenance & Efficiency Upgrades for Maintenance Campground - Design work has started. g) Re-Roof Lock Operator Control Building - A pre-bid meeting has been held, and roof design is complete. h) Connect High Efficiency Street Lights at Public Use Areas - Negotiations with Grady EMC and Three Notch Electric are in progress.
