Award Description: Funding under ARRA formula Capital Fund grant will be used for physical improvements to DHA's public housing sites; handicap accessibility improvements; computer upgrades; and community and support services. This funding is expected to result in providing employment for architects and engineers, construction workers and product manufacturers.
Project Description: Project includes repairs, renovation, security improvements, and upgrades at 32 public housing sites as well as Section 504 handicap accessibility improvements PHA-wide. ARRA funds are not being used to construct new units, nor to rehabilitate units.
