Award Description: The project will provide homelessness prevention, shelter diversion and rapid re-housing services to individuals and families in Anne Arundel County. Approximately 200 households are expected to be served. Approximately, 2.75 fte new jobs will be created through the program. Funds will be awarded to seven sub-grantees to carry out the program. The County’s HPRP Program will assist households at imminent risk of becoming homeless, as well as those who are currently homeless, maintain or obtain stable housing over a two year period. The HPRP Program will provide a comprehensive and coordinated system of care, including a central intake for eligibility screening and assessment and the use of multiple agencies to provide rental assistance, housing support, case management, and services.
