Award Description: The City of South Bend will utilize Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing funds in partnership with local service providers, per the Substantial Amendment to the Consolidated Plan 2008 Action Plan for the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP). Sub-recipient contracts have been executed with Dismass Inc. ($66,163.00) to engage in Housing Relocation and Stablization services and serve up to 145 individuals, the Youth Service Bureau ($221,586.00) to engage in Housing Relocation and Stablization services and serve up to 450 individuals, the Madison Center to engage in Housing Relocation and Stablization services and serve up to 1,000 individuals, and to Center for the Homeless to serve up to 1,000 indivuals through Financial Assistance ($412,500.00) and Housing Relocation and Stabilization ($91,491.00). Up to 2,595 are expected to assisted though the HPRP.
