Award Description: This is a proposal for supplementary funding to support student summer research positions. This proposal is directed towards characterizing the proliferation and cell-cell adhesion effects of Cdx2 and will test the following hypothesis: Cdx2 inhibits colonocyte proliferation and promotes morphologic maturation by modulating b-catenin transcriptional and cell-cell adhesion activity.
