Award Description: Funds from this supplemental application will support one additional specialist to accelerate the pace of discovery and allow the upgrade of our existing equipment.
Project Description: Hired a technical specialist to perform experiment and purchased/upgraded additional equipment. These activities accelerated the pace of research to understand the mechanisms and the general principles of how the nervous system processes sensory information.
