Award Description: Invest in Public Transportation - This project is to make improvements to the agency's maintenance/operations bus parking lot and to the public transit transfer center paving.
Project Description: This project during the past quarter provided funds to allow for engineering work; including scope development, technical specification development and assisting in the RFP process. Other deliverables include completed site survey work and preparation for construction.
Infrastructure Description: YCTA is using its grant to rehabilitate its maintenance/operating facility parking lot, including installing an oil/water separator, and its bus transfer facility driveway/bus loading areas. These projects funded under this grant will invest in transportation, environmental protection and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits. These investments will also contribute to preserving and maintaining jobs and promoting economic recovery in the construction industry.
