Award Description: At this point we have used the ARRA Stimulus Grant to hire an architect to perform the duty of creating the specifications for our roofing project. Currently the roofing project is being advertised for bids. Bids should be submitted to the office by the end of October 2009.
Project Description: Project includes the replacement of at least 13 new metal roofs. Depending on the outcome of the submitted bids, possibly could replace all 16 units.
Jobs Summary: ARRA funding has resulted in the creation of 1 full time architect and 1 part time assistant. Since we had to re-bid my project we have not awarded a contract for the remaining ARRA Stimulus money. Bids will close at the end of October 2009. With the close of the bid we hope to have created 8 jobs total, including roofing contractor and his crew of 5. This is an estimate since the bid has not closed. (Total jobs reported: 8)
