Award Description: ARRA cost of Living Adjustment and Quality Improvement funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act.
Project Description: Projects Provide a cost of living increase to pay the increased costs of employee benefits and improve the overall program. Provide staff training and materials in supporting positive behavior, to imrprove overall quality of program. Provide assistance for Teacher Assistants to increase education level and imrpove overall quality of program. Ensure effective environments: Provide improvements to classrooms facilities and materials, improving quality of program. Activities this quarter Purchased materials for supporting positive behavior for staff training and classroom use. Improved accessability to two classrooms and removed health hazards. Purchased classroom materials to improve overall progam.
