Award Description: RECOVERY-REMOVE & DISPOSE OF PCB CONTAMINATED OIL FROM INTAKE HOIST CRANE GEARBOXES AND REFILL WITH NEW GOVERNMENT FURNISHED OIL --- PROJECT NO.: 322464 FOB: Destination MILSTRIP: W59XQG91919272 PURCHASE REQUEST NUMBER: W59XQG91919272 ACRN AA CIN: W59XQG919192720001 Remove PCB contaminated oil from six gearboxes within the Oahe Project Intake Structure. Each gear box contains approximately 60 gallons of oil for a total approximately 360 gallons. The oil needs to be removed from the intake structure and disposed of in accordance with the terms of this contract. The contaminated oil will have to be transported up 2 flights of stairs. The gearboxes are then to be refilled with new oil, the government has purchased the replacement oil and it is on site in 5 gallon containers.Access to the Intake Structure will be granted during normal working hours with coordination of the technical POC at the Oahe Project. The intake structure is a bridge deck structure and is easily accessed with vehicle/truck for transporting contaminated oil once it is at the deck level.
