Award Description: Administration Building - Office Renovation - Craney Island Portsmouth, VA

Project Description: 1. Disconnect and remove existing HVAC unit from rooftop of building, patch existing metal deck and existing metal seam roof panels where unit has been removed. 02 Provide all materials and labor for complete removal and replacement of American Building System standing metal seam roof over administration building. (approx. 1200sq ft.) 03 Provide a new geothermal closed loop HVAC system which shall consist of a new 7.5 ton self contained water source heat pump with 410A refrigerant and horizontal loop in the adjacent open field. 04 Replace damaged seamless gutter along south side of administration building approx. 81? 05 Remove and replace existing shop area membrane roofing (approx 38? x 21?) Install new R-20 rigid polyisocynurate insulation and fully adhered .060 EPDM membrane. Flash existing wall, curb, and existing penetrations. Provide new gutter and gravel stop with .032 pre-finished aluminum. 06 Provide a new EIFS basecoat over all existing exterior EIFS surfaces and a new EIFS finish coat. Color of finish coat to be selected by CO. 07 Scrape all loose and flaking paint in shop bay, spot prime with blockfiller as needed and provide one coat of Loxon paint (38? x 21? 15?) 08 Provide all materials and labor to accomplish interior duct work which may include replacement of existing acoustical ceiling tile, grids, and miscellaneous drywall patching and painting. 09 Remove two existing skylight units, patch structural metal deck, patch existing metal seam roof. Patch existing GWB or acoustical ceiling tile and abandon vertical ceiling wells.
