Award Description: Evaluation of Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine and other High-Priority Vaccine Preventable Diseases. This project will evaluate the effectiveness of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV) given the vaccination history of cases and controls. Additionally, the project will assess the trends of meningococcal disease in unvaccinated populations.
Project Description: In the month of September 2009, the Department of Health initiated the process for obtaining authorized state positions and budget codes. The Department of Health also initiated the hiring process by advertising positions and scheduling interviews so that positions can be filled soon.
