Award Description: Project is to provide sanitary sewer service to the Garrison community in Lewis County. The community currently has no public sewer service and most private sewage systems are failing. The project consists of construction of 43,500 linear feet of low pressure sewage mains, 355 grinder pump stations, 2 sewage lift stations and a package sewage treatment plant. The Garrison-Quincy-KY-O-Hts Water District is the recipient and this is a combined Loan/Grant project. There are other funding sources as well in the project, including CDBG and KIA.
