Award Description: Technical services to assist the NIH/OER Office of Policy for Extramural Research Administration (OPERA) with the execution of NIH grant support implementation of the required NIH oversight related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) at NIH's institutes and centers supported by OER. Assistance shall include planning, managing, supporting and carrying out program activities as follows: (1) Provide support for the OPERA Interface with GM Module that will significantly improve the quality and accuracy of awards, reduce the number of revised awards currently needed when errors are noted, and significantly reduce the administrative burden for both NIH and grantee staff of monitoring these issues for compliance; (2) Provide support for the eRA/NBS Grants Integration Project that will provide the capability for NIH to control and account for NIH grant resources as defined in government-wide and HHS/NIH specific statutes, regulations and guidelines; and (3) Provide support for the Extramural Systems Evergreening Pilot that wil provide the foundation required for improved reporting and transparency for projects funded through the extramural program as well as reducing the costs associated with operating eRA wywtem for NIH, for its external customers int he OpDivs and other agencies.
