Award Description: Employment of new staff in the form of one (1) ARNP one (1) Registered Nurse, One (1) Medical Assistant and two (2) Community Health Workers; and a PT Pharmacist (2). Extension of the hours of operation for the health center. (two (2) late nights per week; from 8:00A.M. to 8:00P.M.(3) Increase service capacity to meet demands of increase in patients. Employment of additional staff will contribute to HBB's ability to extend our service hours two late nights per week; contributing to an increase accessibility to center service.
Project Description: We have implemented 2 late nights per week on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. We were able to retain the following staff 1ARNP, 1RN, 2 community health workers and 1 part time pharmacist. We were also able to hire 1 medical assistant.
Jobs Summary: Receipt of the IDS funds in March 2009, allowed HBB to employe 1.00 FTE MA and retain 1.00 Registered Nurse. (Total jobs reported: 6)
