Project Description: To have projects underway that will preserve our existing highway infrastructure and thereby prevent further decay, improve conditions, extend the overall life of roadways and bridges, and further other associated highway improvements. In some cases, the projects will improve safety and environmental conditions for the motoring public and/or pedestrians.
Infrastructure Description: To preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery; to assist those most impacted by the recession; to invest in transportation, environmental protection, and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits; and to stabilize State and Local government budgets, in order to minimize and avoid reductions in essential services and counterproductive state and local tax increases.
