Award Description: Winton Hills Medical & Health Center, Inc. (WinMed), a Section 330(e) community health center grantee, providing health care services to diverse uninsured patients and medically underserved communities in Greater Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio for over 35 years, serviced 32% uninsured patients in 2008. WinMed's IDS goals are to preserve jobs and to help patients most impacted by the recession to access health care by 9/30/2011.
Project Description: Goal: Expand existing services: Status: Ongoing. This Goal encompasses 3 objectives (minimum). Obj. One: The objective is to increase the number of new patients to 896 patients. Y.T.D. is 109. Obj. Two: The objective is to increase the number if new patient visits for services to 1,800. Y.T.D. is 109 (new) out of Total IDS provders visits of 1,273. Obj. Three: The objective is to increase the number of uninsured patients who have been able to access health care services to 134. Y.T.D. new uninsured patients are 33. Restricting Factor is uninsured children qualify for SCHIP/(Medicaid).
