Infrastructure Description: The following infrastructure projects were fully or partially funded with SFSF monies at the sub-recipient level: replacement of a 48 year old steam heating system, replacement of the roofing at a junior and senior high school, repair of leaking classroom windows and a portion of the affected gym floor, repairs to locker room windows, updating a distance learning classroom to include air conditioning in the computer lab, and creating a separate bus arrival and departure area at a middle school to enhance student safety. These renovations and repairs helped to retain jobs in the community, to increase student health and safety, and to improve the learning environment. Infrastructure projects were at the elementary and secondary education level.
