Project Description: The State of Colorado awarded public Institutes of Higher Education and Local Education Associations Stabilization dollars for Fiscal Years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 in to maintain the State's financial support to public education. Currently the Institutes of Higher Education have sought reimbursement for over 50% of the currently awarded funds. Local Education Associations will be awarded their allocation once the State's K-12 funding formula is finalized in spring of 2010.
Jobs Summary: As stipulated by the U.S. Department of Education, State Fiscal Stabilization Funds were primarily utilized to provide support for salaries and benefits related to the classroom and laboratory instruction, student services and administrative support within the Colorado public university system.
