Award Description: San Francisco' HPRP program focuses on preventing homelessness and facilitating the quick re-housing of homeless people while partnering with mainstream services and other ARRA-funded programs. Services will be provided by six community-based, not profit agencies with a main focus on prevention activities. One subgrantee will provide rapid rehousing to individuals and families, including victims of domestic violence. The five remaining subgrantees will provide financial assistance and housing stabilization services to a variety of target populations, including individuals, families, youth ages 18-24, and persons with HIV/AIDS.
