Award Description: Head Start 2009 ARRA COLA Quality Improvement Funding
Project Description: Project Description: ARRA COLA and Quality Funds will be used to: Hire 6 Family Service Workers. Increase compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment Increased the compensation of education staff and family service workers to improve the overall quality of the program. Quarterly Activities: Hired 6 Family Service Workers. All staff received COLA increase effective 08-01-2009. Teachers and family service workers received hourly wage increase.
