Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistant with provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act
Project Description: Project Description: ARRA COLA and Quality Funds will be used to: **Increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve the overall quality of the program **Provide the 12th month of health insurance coverage for teachers and assistant teachers **Improve playground accessibility and safety **Assist with Substitute salaries to aid with release time for teacher education and professional development Quarterly Activities: **Additional month of health insurance for teachers ** Play ground enhancement bids were received **All staff received a cost of living adjustment effective July 1, 2009
