Award Description: The primary purpose of this project is to install an array of solar panels on the roof of the Bean Center. The goal is to install the most energy-efficient systems available and to reduce the building's operating expenses. Secondary purpose is to complete the design that meets DOD's security requirements, improves parking lots, designs a stormwater management system, and improves the common area finishes of the main lobby, the cafeteria, the break rooms, and other common areas for GSA's main tenant agency DOD DFAS.
Project Description: Activities completed to date include services for the site acquisition and pre-design stages including geotechnical studies, document and facility review, renewable market study, engineering integration options, ALTA survey and confirmation of existing conditions.
