Award Description: Quality improvement to playground area to provide a safer play environment having a direct impact upon development of children's cognitive, emotional, social and emotional, social and physical skills. Equipment Upgrade to separate play area for younger and older children, replace mulch with rubber turf for easier maintenance and safety as well as maintenance of outdoor playground playground equpment and surfaces. Ensuring safety and durability of playground equipment playground upgrade for children with special needs wheel chair accessibility, creating an environment supportive of children with special needs.
