Award Description: The Indiana Department of Environmental Management was awarded a State Clean Diesel Program Grant to fund exhaust retrofit technologies, idle reduction technologies, diesel engine upgrades, repowers, diesel vehicle replacements, aerodynamic technologies and low rolling resistance tires for onroad and/or nonroad diesel powered equipment fleets throughout Indiana. The general purpose of the grant is to reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality.
Project Description: Clean Diesel 2D-00E83201-0 The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) was awarded this grant on April 8, 2009 IDEM signed the agreement on April 17, 2009 Since receiving the award, IDEM has identified sub-award recipients but no sub-award agreements have been finalized. IDEM expects to finalize agreements and report sub-awards in the next reporting quarter.
