Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act.
Project Description: Project Description: ARRA COLA and Quality Funds will be used to increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve the overall quality of the program. Quarterly Activities: COLA awarded at 1.84% to Head Start staff. Program Improvement funds awarded to teachers W/BA degree at 10% of current salary' teachers, TA's w/AA degrees @ 5% of current salary. Professional Development staff and Family Partnership staff awarded 5% as per ACF-PI-HS-09-06.
