Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act
Project Description: COLA FUNDS WERE ADDED TO EACH EMPLOYEES BASE PAY AS A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT EFFECTIVE WHEN THEY RETURNED TO WORK.ALSO SOME WILL BE USED TO COVER OPERATIONAL EXPENSES. THE Q/I FUNDS WERE DISTRIBUTED WHEN STAFF RETURNED AFTER SUMMER IN FORM OF RETENTION INCENTIVES COMPENSATION. A PORTION OF THIS WAS ALSO EXPENDED FOR CLASSROOM EQUIPMENT TO ENHANCE THE PROGRAMS ABILITY TO STIMULATE GROWTH OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
