Award Description: AS-4157 Work includes removing existing and providing new flooring, ceilings, toilet fixtures, HVAC systems, lighting, and roof covering and repainting all normaly painted surfaces, and other related incidental work. Protect existing vegetation, structures, equipment, utilities and improvements. AS-4158 Work includes removing existing and providing new flooring, ceilings, toilet fixtures, HVAC systems, and lighting. Other significant improvements include adding a new superimposed metal hip roof over the existing low slop roof, repainting all normaly painted surfaces, and other related incidental work. Protect existing vegetation, structures, equipment, utilities and improvements.
Project Description: Submitted Administrative Paperwork and started submitting submittals. Receiving and setting up temporary trailers, started installing roof drain piping and some miscellaneous demo.
Jobs Summary: AS4158 Workers begin demo of vehicle, lift, saw cut concrete, remove tank, cylinder and piping. Clean trash out of lift holes, install rebar and wire, plug old air lines. Pressure wash and pump out old lift pits. Pour concrete in old lift pits and finish same. Clean up after pouring concrete. Layout marks for temp trailers. Layout ditches for ex. Roof drain line. Layout and begin saw cutting asphalt for roof drain system. Bldg 4158 cont. saw cutting asphalt for roof drain system, jack hammer concrete. Removal of concrete. Demo asphalt AS4158, remove asphalt, dig and locate existing roof drain pipe at rear of bldg. Dig ditch and install exterior roof drain line at AS4158. Install new roof drain pipe, backfill and tamp as pipe is installed. Load up and haul off asphalt. AS4158 demo and remove vehicle exhaust fan, begin demo of duct in maintenance heavy equipment bay room 107, load up and haul off asphalt. Demo and remove old vehicle exhaust systems. AS4157 Fabricate fittings for supply main trunk line on Bldg AS4157. Layout ditches. Cut pavement and concrete. Dig out and core drill existing manhole. Put up 200’ silt fence at temp trailers near bldg AS4157. Lay 6 sewer service up to new trailer site by AS4157. Dig out existing 12 C900 water main; start laying 2 PVC water service, backfill. Remove concrete from jobsite. Finish running 2 water line, set up made 12 x2 wet tap, install 2 hand gate valve and valve box on end of 2 line, clean up. Clean and dress up, seed along trench line for new water and sewer lines for trailers behind AS4157. Fabricate fittings for VAV boxes AS4157. Fabricate duct at shop for AS4157. Fabricate straight duct and fittings for AS4157. Insulate duct. Load on truck and return to shop. Demo duct in hi bay. (Total jobs reported: 3)
