Award Description: Scope of work including providing personnel and equipment necessary to perform engineering; geotechnical investigations and engineering evaluations (sealed by a licensed engineer), which assess slope stability, levee settlement, bearing capacity, soil strength parameters, and contains a detailed seepage analysis, to include through seepage and under seepage analysis; surveying and mapping; final design; and preparation of construction documents for the rehabilitation improvments of the interior levees of the Lower Rio Grande Flood Control Project (Main, North, and Arroyo Colorado Floodways) . The analysis and evaluations will incorporate all existing geotechnical and assessment studies provided by the USIBWC for this levee reach. Bidding assistance services were also included. The items of delivery include Preliminary and Final Borehole Location Maps; Field Layout, Drilling and Laboratory Analysis; Draft and Final Geotechnical Technical Memorandum and Maps; 50%-90%-Final Design Reports; 50%-90%-Final Construction Drawings; 50%-90%-Final Technical Specifications; 50%-90%-Final Opinion of Probable Costs; and Draft and Final Database/Inventory in ESRI geodatabase and AutoCAD 3D 2009. Compensation was through percentage complete of an estimated lump sum quantity of 1.00 at the unit price of $10,833,015 for a total cost of $10,813,015.
