Award Description: DESCRIPTION: REMEDIAL ACTION TO ADDRESS GROUNDWATER CONTAMINATION EXPECTED OUTCOMES: CONSTRUCTION OF EXTRACTION AND INJECTION WELLS; CONSTRUCTION OF AIR STRIPPER SYSTEM
Project Description: The following activites were conducted through August 2009: 1) prepared and submitted project plans including the Draft Work Plan, Draft QAPP, Draft Site Management Plan, Draft Data Management Plan and Health and Safety Plan: 2) issued the solicitation for the remedial action construction subcontractor for the groundwater treatment facility and ISCO treatment: 3) received bids and initiated the evaluation process: and, 4) initiated the preparation of the CQC Plan.
Jobs Summary: The FTEs reported for this project are a reflection of jobs retained. Our work on this project entails constructing a groundwater remediation system enlisting skills in the environmental and engineering fields. Our technical staff including environmental scientists, environmental engineers, and geologists prepared project planning documents. Environmental engineers were also engaged in preparing bid solicitation documents and technical evaluation of bids. Procurement and contract staff developed subcontract procurement documents and cost evaluation of bids. This project was further supported by administration staff who provided production support throughout the period of performance. (Total jobs reported: 3)
