Award Description: Invest in public transportation by purchasing new 35 Ft Low Floor Clean Diesel Buses, 30 Ft Low Floor Trolley Buses, installing security cameras and annunciation systems on buses and replacing worn out transit enhancements to include, bus stop signs, bus shelters, benches and trash cans.
Project Description: This grant allows the transit agency to purchase 4 Low Fl Clean Diesel and 3 Trolley Clean Diesel Buses, replace worn out bus shelters, trash cans, benches, install security cameras on 8 existing buses and install automatic stop annunciation systems on 5 buses as a result of these investments the transit agency will be able to offer public transportation service that is safer, more reliable, and more enviromentally friendly.
