Award Description: This project involves the complete rehabilitation of the perimeter roadway and service aprons between the East Ramp and Hangars 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 (Buildings 7087, 7075, 7073, 7072 and 7071) and which extends at a width of approximately 24 feet northerly of Hangar 1 to and along the entire North Ramp and also extends southerly of Hangar 9 to the fuel storage area (Buildings 7087, 7075, 7073, 7072 and 7071). The existing storm drainage system is to be modified and/or expanded as necessary and the entire area is to be finish graded and re-paved to create positive surface drainage. This project also includes the survey, evaluation and necessary corrections to the drainage patterns and resurfacing of the bituminous concrete parking and other paved areas between and adjacent to the Hangars and Building 2426 to include the area bounded by Hangar Avenue. The work may also include re-grading of lawn areas at these locations if and as necessary to achieve the objective.
Project Description: Services provided include site survey, selective demolition, milling, excavation and other eartwork, roadbed repair/replacement, perimeter drain and curbing material delivered, perimeter drain installation.
