Award Description: Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, and applicable licenses and permits necessary to ensure that Main Gate House, Building 14, demolition, associated pavements, utility cut and capping, backfilling, sodding and debris removal services are performed at Shaw AFB, South Carolina in a manner that will restore a neat and professional appearance of base areas. Building demolition as a minimum includes performing asbestos survey, necessary abatement and dismantling the structure, removing identified sidewalks and patio areas, capping servicing utilities, backfilling excavated area, sodding excavated area, and proper disposal of all demolition debris. Work will include Design and Construction of the following items typical: New Asphalt Surface Course for roadway and parking as required. Drainage to include curb inlets, pipe RCP, Cleanouts and required permits for SCDHEC that pertain to storm water pollution control. Curbs, Gutter, traffic calming devices and associated barricades. Associated signage and striping. Surveillance points and personal stations for traffic control. Work will include Design and Construction of the following items typical: New front Gate with electric closure. Move and relocate Gama Detectors. Tiger Teeth. Bollards, islands, signage and Barricades. Surveillance points and personal stations for traffic control. Lighting/surveilance.
