Award Description: The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation was awarded a State Clean Diesel Program Grant to fund a retrofit project targeting long haul trucks in Tennessee. The general purpose of the grant is to reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality.
Project Description: The department is in the process of finalizing a contract with the University of Tennessee to conduct the screening process and reimbursement distribution for the APU rebate program. We anticipate execution of the contract in October of 2009. During this quarter, there were no retrofits installed.
