Award Description: Rockcastle County Industrial Park South Infrastructure Project. This project will consist of installation of 200 LF of 10' gravity sewer, 1,600 LF of 8' gravity sewer and 3,900 LF of 8' water line, 4,000 LF of tri-4'conduit and 3,700 LF of tri-3' conduit all with related structures and appurtenances. The total project cost is estimated to be $600,000, with the Rockcastle County Fiscal Court providing 30% match. The utility improvements will serve the new 25,000 sq. ft. SOURCECORP facility and provide increased infrastructure capacity to the existing B&H Tool Works in the park. With the new facility, SOURCECORP plans to create 154 new jobs and retain 96 existing jobs. The infrastructure improvements will also make it possible for the IDA to develop the remaining 92 acres to be sold to private companies and create additional jobs in the region.
